Reorder points, ABC-XYZ, dead stock, a supplier scorecard and purchase order drafts — calculated from three lists you already have: your products, your monthly sales and your deliveries.

Where cash is stuck
What's inside
You type three simple lists. Every other tab is formulas — no macros, no add-ins, nothing hidden you can't click on and read.
Safety stock, reorder point, days of cover and a status for every product — out of stock, order now, order soon, OK — with the quantity to order, rounded to the supplier's minimum and pack size.
ABC by 12-month value, XYZ by how predictable sales are, and a stocking policy for each of the nine classes — so you know where tight control pays and where it doesn't.
Products with no sale in six months, slow movers with more than 180 days of cover, and stock far above the level you need — with the cash each one ties up and what to do about it.
Real lead time, on-time rate, fill rate and an A–D grade for every supplier, from your delivery history. Leave a product's lead time blank and the kit plans with what the supplier really delivers.
Sample run
The file ships with a realistic catalogue — 40 products, 5 suppliers, a year of sales and 63 deliveries, with an unreliable supplier and some dead stock already in it. Open it and every tab has something to say.
| Supplier | Promised | Real lead time | On time | Fill rate | Plan with | Grade |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Eastgate Supply | 14 d | 13.0 d | 100% | 100% | 14 d | A |
| Nordline Parts | 21 d | 19.6 d | 86% | 100% | 22 d | B |
| Brightway Trading | 25 d | 23.8 d | 89% | 92% | 27 d | C |
| Kaltech | 18 d | 19.5 d | 33% | 99% | 24 d | D |
| Hanse Components | 28 d | 37.9 d | 0% | 93% | 43 d | D |
How it works
Paste from your store or accounting exports. The rest of the workbook recalculates as you type.
Kit or Pack?
One job each: the Reorder Point Calculator or the Open PO Health Check.
The whole picture in one workbook you open when you plan. You stay in charge of when it runs.
The same analysis, run every morning by n8n — it messages you before anything runs out.
Questions
Excel 2010 or later, Microsoft 365, Google Sheets and LibreOffice. It only uses ordinary formulas, so nothing needs enabling and it works offline.
Three lists: your products (SKU, supplier, unit cost, stock on hand and on order), units sold per month for each product, and your past deliveries (order, promised and received dates). Three months of sales is enough to start; twelve is better. Deliveries are optional at first — without them, type each product's lead time yourself.
500 products, 50 suppliers and 500 deliveries are ready to use. To go further, copy the last row's grey formulas down on each tab.
The calculator answers one question: what to order. The kit adds ABC-XYZ, dead and excess stock, a supplier scorecard that feeds real lead times into the reorder points, a purchase plan by supplier, printable PO drafts and a dashboard.
Payment is currently in USDT on TRC-20, because the usual gateways aren't available to me. Email me, send $39, reply with the transaction hash, and the file arrives by email — usually within a few hours, always within 24. If that doesn't work for you, email me and we'll find another way.
Email me and I'll fix it or refund you. The sample data is there so you can see every tab working before you put in your own.
Yes — set it up for clients as part of paid work. What isn't allowed is reselling, sharing or republishing the file itself.
Neither. One payment, the file is yours, and version 1.x updates are free.
